Plowing what snow, exactly, during all those hours?
to be clear, I'm not saying they weren't. Just...why?
I read about that. How awful!

I, too, wonder how many hours the driver of the snow plow that ran over and killed the woman had been working. Working overtime, especially when driving a snowplow and doing the job of plowing the streets, is not always such a good thing.
Without having known the woman and/or her friends/loved ones personally, my thoughts and condolences are with the woman's friends and loved ones.
Isn’t this the intersection…

… where a driver plowed into a cyclist in the bike lane so the city then put in some protective concrete barriers? But the drivers kept hitting the barriers and complained about their dents and scratches so the city, in an ass backward move, removed the barriers.
If those cyclist and pedestrian protecting barriers had been left in place, I wonder if this woman would still have been killed.
