Transit Police report they are looking for a man they say literally got spitting mad on a Green Line platform at Park Street station.
The guy "spat in the face of a female after demanding she move from a seat he wanted to sit in," around 7:40 p.m. on May 31, police say.

Growing up and taking the T into Boston starting in the late 80s, you had your collection of drunks being loud and grabby, homeless guys or people beginning for money or loud kids and teens who made you feel unsafe. However now you have normal and bland looking people acting unstable.
I am not sure if people went feral during lockdown and never recovered or the current climate of the world makes it seem like any sort of assault on someone is an appropriate response.
It’s scary when the dangerous look normal.
Why blame external factors?

Why blame external factors like people's failure to "recover" from a so-called "lockdown" (this country didn't have anything even remotely close to a "lockdown) or the "current climate of the world"? There are contributing factors, sure, but being an asshole is a choice.
Well said!

Not that there's any excuse for that behavior...

...but haven't they taken out many of the seats that used to be on the platform anyway? Which just makes the competition for seats even worse than it used to be.
