Armed robbery and pistol whipping near Egleston Square; three teens arrested

Updated with BPD info.

Boston Police report arresting three teens they say used a replica gun to rob two acquaintances and beat one around 4:15 p.m. at Walnut Park and Walnut Avenue.

The victims told the officer that they had been robbed at gunpoint while sitting in their vehicle with the three suspects, one of whom was known to the victims. The victim reported that the primary suspect hit him with the firearm then stole his cash, iPhone, and keyless entry remote to his car. The officer broadcast the suspect descriptions over the police radio, and responding officers were able to locate two of the suspects on Brookledge Street and one on Hutchings Street. Officers recovered a black full-sized airsoft pistol with the federally required orange safety tip removed from the primary suspect. Two of the suspects were also in possession of several counterfeit $20 bills at the time of the arrest.

Fabio Semedo, 18, of Dorchester, Trevon Jordan, 18, of Roxbury, and a 16-year-old from Roxbury not named because of his age were charged with armed robbery, police say. Semedo was also charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

Innocent, etc.
