Man found shot to death on Regina Road in Dorchester

UPDATE: Victim identified as Shawn Peete.

Boston Police report finding a man in his 40s with a gunshot wound at 31 Regina Rd. around 6:30 this morning.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

He is Boston's third murder victim this year.

What was the conclusion and what were the decisions made at the City conference on violence which I recently heard about? Did that already happen, or is it scheduled to happen?
