Boston Police report arresting a Revere man on drug charges yesterday after they say officers watched him sell some drugs on Blackstone Street, walk over to a Haymarket tent and then sell some more drugs an hour later.
Police say Florentino Figueroa-Barragan, 36, had 43 bags of heroin and 14 bags of cocaine when drug-unit officers arrested him around 12:45 p.m., after watching the second transaction.
According to police:
At about 11:50 AM, the officers were in the area conducting an investigation when they observed the suspect engage in a street level drug transaction behind a dumpster on Blackstone Street near Surface Road. Officers followed the suspect to the Haymarket outdoor market and observed him enter a produce tent where he appeared to be employed. At about 12:45 PM, while the officers continued their surveillance of the suspect, a second individual approached and appeared to take part in another drug transaction with the suspect next to the produce tent.
He faces arraignment on Monday on a charge of distribution of Class A drugs, police say.
Innocent, etc.
