Gov. Patrick said today an interfaith prayer service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, with President Obama in attendance.

Mayor Menino, meanwhile, said the city has set up a fund to help victims. Boston public-safety unions have set up their own fund to help victims and to post a reward for the capture of whoever was responsible.

Said evidence consists of two Boston-related tweets from the recipe site this morning, including:

Boston, our hearts are with you. Here's a bowl of breakfast energy we could all use to start today.

Which had a link to a recipe for some crap. Of course, once called, the site deleted the tweets and then posted a new tweet apologizing for the tweets that "seemed insensitive."

The Paulist Center, 5 Park St., is having interfaith candlight services at 5:15 and 6:15 p.m.

The Arlington Street Church, Arlington and Boylston Street, is having a candlelight vigil at 8 p.m.

A Reddit group is working with Anytime Pizza (formerly Pizza Ring) in Cambridge to get free pizzas to hospitals and police stations for medical workers and police officers on duty today.

Both the Museum of Fine Arts and the Institute of Contemporary Art are opening their doors at no charge today. The MFA says:

The injuries suffered by bomb victims taken to Mass. General are consistent with those caused by pellets, nails or other sharp objects, the chief of trauma services said at a press conference this morning. Read more.

The heart of Copley Square remains shut down. Boston Common resembles a military encampment. Cafe tables along Newbury Street remain uncleaned as police comb the area for possible evidence.

At a press conference this morning, Gov. Patrick said that the only explosive devices on Boylston Street yesterday were the ones that exploded.

Police Commissioner Ed Davis said 176 people were injured by the blasts and that 17 are in critical condition. The death toll remains at 3. Read more.

UPDATE: Meetinghouse Bank has set up an account for the Richard family. EasCare Ambulance, 500 Neponset Ave. (under the Planet Fitness) is also accepting donations, and is open 24 hours.

The Dorchester Reporter tells us about Martin Richard, whose sister and mother were seriously injured in yesterday's bombings on Boylston Street.

Ed. note: City Councilor Matt O'Malley, himself a Marathon runner, posted the following on his Facebook page tonight. Reprinted here with permission.

In 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, and 2012 I took a right on Hereford and then a left on Boylston. After running 26 miles, seeing the finish line of the Boston Marathon ranks among the greatest feelings in the world. Last year, in fact, I videotaped the final 2/10th's of a mile and uploaded it to Youtube. I wanted to record the feeling of pure bliss.

I am equally sad and angry that someone has sought to destroy that.

Police Commissioner Ed Davis just announced. He said the exact number of injured is still being tallied, added "there is no suspect at Brigham and Women's Hospital."

Meanwhile, the FBI has taken control of the investigation because it might be a terrorist attack.

Davis added T riders can expect extra bag and backpack checks in coming days.
