Wentworth tells students to stay home

Wentworth Institute of Technology today told students that their spring break is extended to March 18 to give professors the chance to get ready to teach them online.

The school says it's shutting all its dorms, although it will reserve space for students who petition to stay for extenuating circumstances, such as students who would have difficulty getting back to their home countries or who are doing co-op work/study programs in the Boston area.

Wentworth employees will continue to report to work.
