A pair of South Boston residents who set out for Broadway station on the Red Line refused to let the fact that the 9 bus never came stop them from getting to Newbury Street for a gallery show. They set out on foot down Broadway to the station - making sure to stop at every bar on the street for a fortifying shot of whiskey.
And they made it - only two hours after they thought they would.
