The owners of the one-story Stats Bar and Grille in South Boston's Perkins Square want to replace it with a five-story building with a ground-floor restaurant and four floors of apartments.
The $4.5-million proposal by Jim and Andrew Statires calls for 15 apartments - with 3 to be rented as affordable.
The building would have no parking; the proposal says the site is served by several bus lines and is a 15-minute walk to both the Andrew Square and Broadway Red Line stops.
The Statireses hope to begin an estimated year of construction by year's end.
