The federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Massachusetts Attorney General's office have sued Nikitas Tsoukales and his Key Credit Repair of Mattapan over what they say are failed promises to repair people's credit, deceptive marketing and repeated violations of a state law that prohibits taking somebody's money before actually fixing their credit. Shortly after 11 p.m., somebody fired at least ten rounds from a spot near the Dunkin' Donuts at Morton and Evans street. Some damage was found at the Morton House of Pizza across the street. One person suffered a minor graze injury; unclear if from a bullet or something else.

Two non-profit groups have filed plans with the BPDA for a 31-unit apartment building where the B-3 police station used to be on Morton Street next to the bridge over the train tracks and 9 condos nearby on Hopkins Street, which will be next to the Stephen P. Odom Serenity Garden the city is planning in memory of the teenager shot to death in 2007. Read more.

Investigators are looking for the driver of a dark blue or black Chrysler 300 that they've identified as the one that slammed into Pierre Desir on Morton Street early Saturday and then just kept driving early on May 26. Read more.

State Police are now looking for a dark-colored sedan, possibly an older Accord, that now has serious front-end damage - including missing a headlight - to find the driver they say hit Pierre Desir on Morton Street early Saturday and then just kept driving, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. State Police report a pedestrian was struck and killed on Morton Street near Fuller Street around midnight by a driver who just kept on going west on Morton.

State Police say they victim, a man, 40, was declared dead at the scene.
