14-year-old was traipsing around Humboldt Avenue in Roxbury with a gun loaded with eight rounds, police say
Boston Police report gang-unit officers conducting a gun investigation Tuesday afternoon, stopped one particular 14-year-old at Humboldt Avenue and Harrishof Street - and found him with a deadly weapon in his waistband.
Specifically, police say, when the officers stopped the kid around 4:25 p.m., they found a 9-mm Smith & Wesson M&P Shield handgun with a laser sight, one round in the chamber and seven more in a magazine.
The teen, too young to have his name released, was charged with being delinquent for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, police say.
