The TD Bank branch at 391 Market St. in Brighton was held up shortly before 9:50 a.m. by a man who got into an SUV and drove away. A couple minutes later, police stopped the suspect at Washington and Cambridge streets and recovered the money. Read more.

Developers this week filed plans to tear down the Lincoln Bar and Grill and a neighboring office building so they can put up an 82-condo building at a formerly nondescript location that's suddenly become hot because of massive nearby development. Read more.

The Boston Licensing Board decides tomorrow whether to let Pui Chung Siu buy the beer, wine and liqueur license now held by the Umai sushi restaurant at 412 Market Street and turn the space into a noodle place called South of Clouds.
Siu's attorney, Meihuei Hu, told the board this morning that Siu is planning only cosmetic changes to the restaurant's interior. Nobody opposed the request.
