After Judy Martin lost her job as an EEG technician at Children's Hospital for refusing Covid-19 shots, she sued. Attorneys for Martin and the hospital today filed an agreement to dismiss the suit with prejudice, meaning she can't bring it again. The short agreement does not specify why she dropped the case.

A judge in bankruptcy court in Boston has ruled a manager at a Massachusetts marijuana dispensary can't take advantage of federal bankruptcy laws because marijuana remains illegal under federal court. Read more.

A videographer who was fired from his job working on WCVB's "Chronicle" show in 2021 for refusing Covid-19 shots has sued the station and the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance for his firing in November, 2021 and denial of unemployment benefits, saying the station refused his legitimate request for a religious exemption and that the state is also discriminating against him by refusing to pay him unemployment. Michael Browder, Jr. today sued Boston for a minimum of $8,342,068 in damages for putting him on unpaid leave in October, 2021 after denying his request for a religious exemption from the city's requirement that employees get Covid-19 shots. Read more.

A Boston Police officer who is already part of a suit seeking millions of dollars in damages from Boston over its rescinded indoor vaccination requirements today filed a separate suit seeking at least another $2 million because the city fired him last month after rejecting his request for a religious exemption from Covid-19 vaccinations. A former RN at Boston Medical Center is the latest to sue the hospital for firing her last October, saying her rights under the First Amendment and federal equal-opportunity laws were violated because she provided proof of religious reasons she shouldn't get the shots. Read more.

Workers at several Boston Starbucks walked off the job this morning as part of a nationwide strike, including: Cleveland Circle, 1304 Commonwealth Ave. and 217 Western Ave. in Brighton, 874 Commonwealth Ave. at BU and Federal Street downtown.

A Boston Medical Center staff nurse who believes Mother Nature doesn't want her getting shots or even taking medicines yesterday sued her former employer because it rejected her request for a religious exemption from Covid-19 shots and fired her last October. Read more.

The owners of the Simco's stands in Mattapan and Roslindale today acknowledged they paid 20 workers below even the federal minimum wage and refused to pay overtime, in a proposed settlement of a US Department of Labor complaint filed in US District Court in Boston. Read more.
