Sends the wrong message; Gray family solidarity march would be more appropriate based on their wishes. Considering what has been portrayed so heavily in the media as the reaction in Baltimore some may think these protestors are standing up for those outliers who have been rioting... just a thought.
Thanks for the info; although it's difficult for me to assume a Herald reporter is competent it seems as though these protestors were sending the right, wrong message. A peaceful march in support of violence and destruction... how kewl (insert pile of poop emoji here).
TJ, whether or not the Herald reporter is competent, the photographer is. The Herald photos show many of the Boston protesters held professionally printed signs demanding the release of the Baltimore "protestors." Since only the worst of the worst were arrested in Baltimore, they are clearly demanding the release of the rioters and looters. Even more laughable in Boston, a few hand-written signs with the long discredited, "hands up, don't shoot" meme. Even the despicable Eric Holder had to admit that after just committing the strong-armed robbery, "Big Mike" actually attacked Officer Wilson and never put his hands up nor did he say "hands up, don't shoot." Perhaps the aggrieved Boston crowd could apologize to Officer Wilson for their earlier false accusations.
As for Baltimore, the far-left Washington Post is now reporting that another prisoner in the police transport van could hear Freddie Gray banging his head against the walls of the van. The other prisoner, who would seemingly have no reason to lie for the police, said that he believed Gray was intentionally trying to injure himself. Innocent until proven guilty, except for cops.

Man, you've been stringing us along for a long time, Fish. I stand with everyone on this website, I'm sure, by saying that up until now, I really thought you were serious. Well fucking played. That's some top shelf trolling.
Let's clear some things up right now:
1.) There have been peaceful protests occurring in Baltimore for over a week now. The media paid little to no attention to them depending on the network.
2.) The media only paid attention when the city was lit on fire and destroyed. The protests in Boston, DC, Minneapolis, and New York (and Baltimore's largely student led march to City Hall) last night were in support of those peaceful protests that went unnoticed.
3.) You are assuming and insinuating far too much from what the Herald article (despite being clearly crafted for their audience) actually says. There is nothing wrong with saying they stand in solidarity with Baltimore. In fact, there was a massive peaceful protest occurring in Baltimore during the Boston march. They all happened simultaneously yesterday in solidarity with each other.
Riots are news. There are lots of cars that drive on the highway and the news doesn't show them, but they do show accidents. Lots of flights take off and land safely and aren't shown, but crashes are.

From The Story...
You say...
From The Herald...
Assuming the reporter is competent, it sounds like that's exactly what was happening.

Boston protesters demanded release of those who were arrested for rioting in Baltimore, but not looting and torching businesses I assume...
To state the obvious, those
To state the obvious, those are not necessarily mutually-exclusive groups of people.
Well then...

Another rush to judgment in Baltimore?

Uh huh
In the history of the penal system, absolutely no prisoner has ever lied about another prisoner to their own benefit.

This kind of assumption based on no evidence is exactly why police bias, where it exists, is tolerated. It's a dangerous circular argument.

Yert another "police riot"...
... at least in part:

I rather suspect the police (if not the police leadership) wanted to distract attention from the issue of police murder and abuse of "civillians".
