Brendan the roving UHub photographer spotted these stones on Pond Street in Jamaica Plain the other day.
UPDATE: What was stolen were stones painted like pumpkins, not actual pumpkins.

If you put out pumpkins in September
They should be stolen.

I don't hate fun...
I hate compost. Which is what you get when your neighbors carve pumpkins in September or early October and leave them outdoors until Thanksgiving.
Who said anything about carving?
A few small pumpkins or gourds will last weeks.
I was gonna say
I put out my pumpkin and my festive gourds last weekend (because it's festive gourd season, m*f*'ers.), and $5 says they're still around by Halloween. When it's not super warm, those thing last for months.
Also anyone who steals a pumpkin off of someone's front steps should be sentenced to 8 hours locked in a room with FISH complaining about the Boston Globe.
