The Walpole League of Women Voters sponsored an Eighth District debate between incumbent Steve Lynch and challenger Robbie Goldstein for the Sept. 1 Democratic primary.

I only skimmed through this video,
didn't get enough from it to discern a stark difference between the candidates, but despite being utterly sick of Zoom calls, having spent the last six months of my life on them eight or 10 hours a day on them, I like this format, the unvarnished one-on-one of it.
I'm predicting that Trump will find an excuse to avoid debating Biden. It's harder to conceal your lack of command of basic facts and policy details that way vs. broadcasting to the docile flock via Twitter.

What broke people’s critical thinking skills is that for the past 30 or 40 years, the reins of power (and therefor control over public education) have too often been in the hands of those for whom an educated public is an inconvenient obstacle.
