I am amped for this place.
New restaurants in the square are always welcome.
Does anyone know if there's any movement on the old Robyn's space? I'd love a neighborhood bar. RnR is a bit rich for my blood.
watering holes in Rosi? Have you checked out...
Brannelly's - up Washington on left a block after Metroplitan intersection. Neighborhoody, quiz and karaoke nights, reasonable pizza/grill food.
B K's - right off the square, opposite the recycle center. Classic dive bar. Bud light sort of place. Soemtimes friendly to newbies, but often grumpy.
Kelleher's - up near top of Arboreteum where Weld and Centre Sts cross. More pub than the two bars I mentioned above. Friendly. Good food, pretty reasonable beer selection. Younger crowd than the rest.
Pleasant Cafe - up Washington, about a block after Brannelly's on the right. Restaurant + full bar, aka classic public house. Family friendly. Generous sized mixed drinks. Lots of folks have deep affection for this place - been around forever.
Columbian man
Her religion is something not worth mentioning?
I think "jewish" was intended as a ethnic/cultural marker, not -
- a religious one. Both owners are immigrants and entrepenuers who met here in the Boston area. I think that's the melting-pot angle that adam was trying to get across.
The original article doesn't say boo about their religions - just that her name is Cecelia Lizotte and she's from Nigeria, and his is Moises Kaplan and he's from Columbia.
is it so hard to spell
is it so hard to spell Colombia?
Apparently, anonymous coward
But probably easier than pulling the stick out of your ass would be ;P
It's a very common mistake, as most instances of the word one encounters as an American are spelled with a 'u'. Mea Colpa.
