Trains meet their demise; riders utter sighs

Central Square crush on the MBTA Red Line

Bill Palin shows us the scene at Central Square around 9:30 a.m., as passengers wonder if they'll ever get to their destinations due to a train that went to its final destination at Harvard Square.

Coupled with a dead trolley on the Green Line, the Orange Line problems and inexplicably overpacked Blue Line trains, it was a rare superfecta on the T this morning.

I can see it now:

Boston's first in the nation subway system will transport athletes, staff and spectators safely and speedily! There's a reason we locals call it the Hub!!

As long as all regular commuters are safely imprisoned, relocated or killed by then, which I'm not certain isn't in the IOC's list of demands.

And then they can serve the athletes Soylent Green!

athletes, staff, and spectators.

He didn't say anything about commuters or residents.

It's really more of a superfectabox, since it doesn't really matter what order the lines break down in, just that they all poop the bed.

Got an alert earlier this morning about delays on the blue line do to "police action" so maybe that explains the overcrowded trains.

Adam, do you ever plan on adding a thumbs down feature to the site?

I can't even vote thumbs up? Wosssup wid dat?
