Three people were shot around 10:15 p.m. in the courtyard of a large apartment complex at Bragdon and Ernst streets. Boston Police report:
Upon arrival, officers observed two male victims suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The first male appeared to be in his early 20’s and was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The second male appeared to be in his late 20’s and was transported to Boston Medical Center. Both victims later succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the hospital.
About three hours later, a third victim from the shooting showed up down the street. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police say.

It was 10:11. 7 shots. 3 quick, pause, 3 more deliberate, then one final one a few seconds later. Heard them while working at my computer where I'm still sitting.

...but I had no way to know the race of the shooter from only hearing the shots and before any news reports of the race of the victims or the suspects. And, this is a mixed race area so it is not legitimate to assume the race of anyone involved. That would be racist.

You Say " Gangbanging thugs" an then u say Sorry to say.. do you know then very well to say that. I guess No. But I do know then very well not only then but their family to.. Its sad that this happened to this two kids. WOW and the first thing that come to you is Gangbanging nooooooo.. ...talking about the shooters. And, yes, having heard the shots I do not believe there was only one shooter. That's why I used the plural.
You listen to the shots and then hear on the news that they have called in the homicide unit and then tell me if it's OK to be upset at the shooters. I was thinking about the victims and the fact that my kids could have been hit by a stray bullet.

So many kids in those few blocks, and at least 5 schools I can think of off the top of my head. Whether this is gang related or a beef between someone else, I hope this gets cleared before school starts.

I know the family of one of the victims personally and although people will speculate and give there two cents no matter what I'm not on here to defend anyone or anything I knew one of the young men and his family for a long time and I know who he truly was and I don't need to justify or express that because anyone that knew him loved him and knew what a great person he was so with that said I am speaking as a mother, daughter, sister and friend and asking that anyone that knows any info weither you think it's relevant or not to please reach out to the detectives and tell them whatever it is youknow or seen.... These young kids have "snitching" all twisted up you coming forward with info to help put someone that did something wrong away isn't "snitching" it's doing the right thing. These two men were sons,brothers,grandsons,cousins,nephews and a father and they deserve justice not to be forgotten or for whoever knows anything to stay quiet... This violence will not stop nor will it change if we as human beings don't come forward and stand up to these people who are so brazen to just take someone's life.... So I write this to plead to anyone if you have info do it anonymously or make a report..... Thanks
