What is currently inappropriate about the boundaries?
How are Boundaries of Wards and Precincts supposed to be set?...

They haven't been updated in over a half century
All the other municipalities in Mass get updated precincts every ten years, based off the latest census. But Boston is exempted because of the whole no-home-rule nonsense - they haven't been updated here in over half a century.
So our precincts are really unbalanced - the average should have about 2000 voters, but right now some have just a couple hundred voters, while others have over three times (ie many thousands) as many.
This means that each precinct has to have custom levels of staffing/materials, which is more expensive to manage and easier to screw up. It also means that some voters (like in parts of the Fort Point neighborhood) have to travel much farther to exercise their franchise, while others have to deal with lines that they really shouldn't have to.
There was a bill introduced last year by Rep. Aaron Michlewitz (North End) to grant a home rule petition from the Council to allow reprecincting. I don't what happened with it.
...sigh
Will someone start a crowdrise campaign for Freedberg and get him a copy editor since he refuses to do so.
I hope the find someone who
I hope the find someone who mirrors Petrucelli's commitment to moving on to lobbying as soon as humanly possible.
And not responding to constituents
Petruccelli is useless.

How do you get an image of a Sample Specimen Ballot by email?
Many Voters are surprised by the section of the Ballot for electing State Committee Man/Woman and electing State Committee.
How do you get an image by email of a Sample Specimen Ballot for the Primary Election Tuesday 1 March 2016 from the Elections Office http://www.cityofboston.gov/contact/?id=33 preferably rightsideup than sideways?...
a) ask they fold the Sample Specimen to 11 inch size to fit the 8x11 scanner and email the image in two parts.
b) Or email an 8x11 reduced photocopy of the 11x17 size Ballot.
What other ways are there to email an image of an 11x17 oversize Sample Specimen Ballot where the Elections Office scanner accommodates 8x11 size?
c) Ask Elections Offices to put images of Sample Specimen Ballots online.
d) Ask Voter Mobilization advocates to put images of Sample Specimen Ballots online.
