Why in the world can't people keep better and closer tabs on their pets, so that they don't end up on rooftops or wherever? Some people seem to have no sense of responsibility. If one owns any type of pet, they're obligated to look out for it, care for it properly, and not to do risky stuff (such as keeping a window or door that opens to the outside ajar). I wish people would learn.
