Finn shows us the rising floodwaters on Atlantic Avenue at Long Wharf., around 11:30 a.m.

Earlier, he watched police blocking off Atlantic Avenue - which also flooded in the January storm:

While Boston was underwater due to poor infra. Meanwhile, reinforcing Aquarium's headhouse after the last storm wasn't an emergency, but building a private $100,000 kitchenette and bathroom at MassDOT was. wtf

It may be the sandbags are working, but they can't let people in because sandbags are blocking the door. :-)

(Or they don't want people exiting onto a flooded road.)

Sealing the entry keeps sea water out of the entry ... and the escalators and such.

I think the problem is that they can't sandbag a zillion leaks through the brick walks and the soil in the surrounding area and into to tunnel.

Anyone want to meet for lunch at the BPDA Waterfront Cafe?
