Man shot on Annunciation Road; two arrested on gun charges

Boston Police report a man was shot around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at 60 Annunciation Rd. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

Around 9:10 p.m., police stopped a car on Washington Street near Glenarm Street in Dorchester that matched the description of one seen fleeing the scene. A search of the car produced a loaded 9-mm handgun with an obliterated serial number underneath the padding of an unoccupied car seat in the rear.

Driver Antonio Williams, 20, and passenger Rafael Pena, 24, were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, police say.

The investigation into the shooting continues, police say.

this one sure has a disproportionate amount of violent crime.

Alice Taylor is quite large (366 units) and while I think some people's addresses are on Ruggles St or Prentiss St, BPD always calls everything that goes down in that area, all the way up to the basketball courts a few feet from their headquarters, Annunciation Road.
