If a car driver hit this motorcycle and the motorcyclist subsequently dies, wouldn't you consider that a homicide?
(Not a homicide if this was a "one-bike" accident, but we may not know that yet.)

I came upon the scene right after it happened and it looked like the biker was most likely going straight through the intersection on A Street and was hit by an SUV turning left from A onto Broadway. The front of the SUV was pretty destroyed as was the bike.

Good point. Homicide just means a person killed by another person. It is a fairly common misconception that homicide = murder.

This is my friend, he was killed by a man talking on a cell phone while driving. A person who was an amazing selfless genuinely kind young man is gone now. What phone call is worth a life, senseless homicide by car for sure
