Election roundup: Pressley makes council endorsements

Ayanna Pressley has endorsed Julia Mejia (incumbent), David Halbert, Ruthzee Louijeune and Carla Monteiro for the four at-large council seats and Kendra Hicks in District 6 (Jamaica Plain, West Roxbury, Mission Hill). Didn't say if she'll be endorsing somebody for mayor.

Emery-board users: Sunday could be your chance to score some free emery boards. At-large Councilor Michael Flaherty says he'll be walking in the Roslindale Day Parade, and he's usually accompanied on such walks by volunteers handing out free Flaherty emery boards. The parade kicks off at 1 p.m. in Roslindale Square, then heads down Belgrade Avenue.

Annissa Essaibi George says knock it off with the Trump-ties allegations. That's that Super PAC and she thinks tying her to that is "gross" and professes to wish them to stop trying to "help" her.

In addition to the races for mayor and city council, East Boston voters will get to decide a non-binding question on whether Eversource should be allowed to build a substation on East Eagle Street.

will not be worrying about an endorsement from Ayanna Pressley.

Rep Pressley went through the city's races and endorsed every Black candidate who's running against a non-Black candidate (with the exception of Althea Garrison, who never gets endorsements anyway). That's not right.

Pressley should have worn her bowler derby and had a stogie between her teeth.

How about if Michelle or Anissa pick up Conan Harris-Pressley on waivers?
