Let's just say the same individual has been creating "art" all around Andrew Square and, yes, cheese and 'fromage' is a theme.

Ohp may or may not be related. If so, those familiar will know where to start looking.
There is someone smashing windshields around Andrew and the Lower End.
Too bad the Seaport is more of a priority for police patrols than where they are actually needed.

You’re kidding right? I’ve lived in the seaport for the past 20 years and hardly ever see BPD around.

Is there anything here that's not an established vernacular spelling though? Stupid sayings on walls aren't formal essays.

of which as "cheesy" dates to the 14th century -- with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

American English doesn't have an institution like Académie Française to enforce spelling, grammar and usage. Popular usages in our language pass into standard-ness over time, even completely nonsensical ones like "literally" being understood to mean its opposite, "figuratively", a cringe-inducer for me.

And yes, it's useful to match your diction to the context and audience: standard spellings are more important in academic and business writing than in graffiti. I'm not correcting spelling or grammar errors in texts from my friends.

But given a public solecism like "cheezy", I'm going to mentally blue-pencil it. Anytime you see a sign that points to the "Boston Commons" or "Public Gardens", you should, too.

How about something for people to write down their feelings about grief and loss? It is needed.
