Boston City Councilor Ricardo Arroyo is set to announce this morning that he's running for Suffolk County District Attorney in the fall elections.
Arroyo, a former public defender, is entering his second two-year term as councilor for District 5 (Hyde Park, Roslindale, Mattapan).
Rachael Rollins left the job last month to become US Attorney for Massachusetts. In addition to Boston, Suffolk County includes Chelsea, Winthrop and Revere.

No experience in law enforcement. This is not a place to learn on the job. Associates don’t run law firms.

Please don't. Why do people who have no experience believe they are qualified for this job simply because they are politicians. Political hubris is wild.
