The folks at the Boston City Archives wonder if you can figure out where this building was (and, yes, they marked out the street name). See it larger.

Some Of Those Facades Are Still There
A lot of these buildings, which were built post 1872 fire made it until the 1980's.
This is 125 Summer Street now looking from the Dunkin Donuts at Church Green towards the Starbucks on the corner of Summer and Lincoln.
The developer of 125 Summer kept most of the two facades in the immediate center of the photo when the building there not was kept.
Same thing happened with Kennedy's Department Store when 101 Arch Street was built.
Right street, wrong block
You can see the street number 143 on top of the clock. This was the corner of Summer and South streets, just southeast of the block that John Costello mentions. Sadly, all these buildings were torn down, maybe for the Central Artery.

125 Summer St was the Orange Lollipop bldg.
During Nixon's 2nd term, I noticed the OLs while looking out the (not especially clean) windows of the Blue Sands café across the street. Pic doesn't much look like the view from the BS.

Thte lollipop building was 100 Summer Street, on the opposite side of the street.

But I'm pretty sure this was at the southeast corner of Summer & South (back when it actually extended to High St.) -- you can see the Bordman Building at 157 Summer St. None of these buildings exist today.

Off by a few hundred feet. You are right. This is now the park outside of Tatte.

I thought they actually needed help figuring out these locations, but it’s just trivia?

Architecture
Some people may see buildings like this as foreboding, but I see great character. I was sorry when they tore down the nearby Dainty Dot building, a great piece of architecture. It had beautiful columns.
