Mission Hill bank robbed, suspect arrested

Boston Police report arresting a Roxbury woman on charges she held up the Eastern Bank branch at 1413 Tremont St. shortly after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say Marisela Aguirre, 34, "passed a threatening note to a teller demanding cash." She then ran out. Police say officers found her not long after a few blocks away on Turquoise Way in the Mission Main Apartments.

The suspect was placed in custody without incident after being positively identified at which time the officers safely recovered the stolen money which was then turned in as evidence.

She was charged with masked armed robbery of a bank, police say.

Police added that both local detectives and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force are continuing to investigate the incident.

Hopefully she gets the right lawyer who'll have the note tossed the mask challenged and her flight attributed to fear.
