State Police report arresting a Dorchester man they say would have somebody order him up rides to a Massport parking lot on Summer Street in the Seaport, where he would then carjack the drivers. Read more.

329 Northern Ave. now missing a wall

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to 329 Northern Ave. after the wind ripped a 50x50 piece of wall off the side of the vacant building around 3:15 p.m. ISD and a structural engineer will now determine if the whole building has to come down.

A developer has filed plans with the BPDA to add four floors to the top of an existing and long three-story building at the end of Black Falcon Pier in the Raymond Flynn Marine Industrial Park on the South Boston Waterfront. Read more.

The Boston Licensing Board today ordered Rosa Mexicano, 155 Seaport Blvd., and Kava Neo-Taverna, 315 Shawmut Ave., shut for one night each after BPD detectives found them with way more patrons than allowed under current Covid-19 restrictions. Read more.

Former Au Bon Pain bakery in South Boston

Expensive parking price in the Seaport: $14,235 for two hours

Gary, of Gary's Liquors in West Roxbury, ventured out of his leafy bubble last night and drove down to the Seaport to enjoy a meal at Lola 42. Two hours later, he walked over to the Fan Pier Garage, put his ticket into the machine and was informed he owed $14,235 - which he could pay in cash. Read more.
