This is great, Boston should convert all the water taxis to electric (plug in/solar hybrid) like this so our hard work cleaning the harbor and air in Boston stays that way.

If you think about it, diesel boats are ultimately solar powered too, albeit by sunshine that fell on the earth a long, long, time ago. Nuclear is probably the only energy source we've got that isn't ultimately solar.

All heavy elements, including the radioactive ones, were created in supernovas, so while they may not be from our sun they are from a star somewhere. Kinda stretching "solar power" a bit though...
