Since when are we prosecuting larceny again in the Suffolk County? Or are they just looking to talk?

Even when Rollins was DA, breaking and entering remained an arrestable offense.

Also: there's this:

Rollins’s decline-to-prosecute policies did not increase the related nonviolent misdemeanor crimes reported by the Boston Police Department, showing that intentionally averting prosecution does not boost crime.

Exactly. Why are we back to boosting crime now?

You're not quite as clever as you think.

This bot contributes nothing but a bad stench.

Is it possible that the police simply stopped reporting all misdemeanors because the DA promised not to prosecute? Could that explain the lack of an increase in reports?

Is it possible the reports were stolen by leprechauns?

The Boston you live in sounds like a terrible place. Luckily it only exists in your head.

Doesn't seem too concerned about the security camera.

Why would any business leave cash in the register 90 minutes after closing? Like, wouldn't stowing your cash be one of the first things you do?

It may not be that it's all the cash, but just the amount to have the drawer prepped for opening the next day. In most stores I've worked at, that's ~$200.

If it really is all the cash for the day, then that's bad cash management. Also, there's the possibility this guy had some kind of insider insight, as this seems like a weird choice for a B&E. There's usually cops right next door at the T stop, and a fair number of people at all hours.

“Is that a camera up there taking my picture?”

There's something about how he's dressed that seems awkward - like he was trying to dress the part of an employee in case he was noticed.

This guy habitually consumes his ill gotten gain in front of a security camera.
