I will not do your job for you. If......this is your job. I just have disdain for the people who chase police scanners and put stories in print based on what they think they know. Makes the people who do this (yourself not excluded) look like jackels. Now you have others on here throwing out speculation after speculation which in the end have the potential to further hurt the people involved.
You reviewed my comment before posting which is fine and understandable but the person who is spewing speculation about jumping, being intoxicated, etc.....joke!

As far as someone who is reporting at this point in time, they know a man who was on the roof ceased to continue physical contact with said roof and was subjected to the forces of gravity, the culmination of which was him having physical contact with the ground.
Now, perhaps in a day or so, we may find out why this happened. Perhaps he jumped (as a suicide, a daredevil stunt gone wrong,) perhaps he was pushed (as a joke by a dumb friend, as part of a fight with an angry person,) or perhaps it was the result of a tragic accident (tripping, roofing accident, broken railing, trying to watch the sunset while intoxicated, trying to escape an angry wasp.)
But until the reason that his feet or other relevant body parts lost contact with the roof is made public, he fell.
