Looks like somebody's stolen Robert Gould Shaw's sword again from the memorial across from the State House.

Argh
Given what this monument represents, this REALLY pisses me off.
I'd say that...
...there's a decent chance that these idiots have no clue what the monument represents.
Jeff Sessions
Is Attorney General Sessions in town by chance?
I believe he grabbed Milo Yannopoulos
sword.
I think they keep a large supply of replacements
I believe it gets stolen several times a year. It has been started living in Boston in 1999 and I am thinking it was plastic for many years before then.
Yeah, I thought we learned
Yeah, I thought we learned this last time it happened. Though the break in the photo looks substantial.
I think the break is in the plastic
It has been a long time, but a trick was to walk up this substantial statue and pull on the sword to show how if flexed. And I recall that if flexed all the way back to guard.
I do believe...
...that I read a while back (maybe the last time it happened?) that it was fiberglass and they generally just keep a bunch of them in stock.
Washington Sword @ Public Garden
Doesn't that get stolen, as well?
