City councilors deserve a chance to get answers to questions about the proposed IndyCar Boston race this fall, City Councilor Bill Linehan says.
The council today approved his request to look at a possible hearing where councilors can pose questions to IndyCar organizers and city officials who are backing the plan to shut down streets around the South Boston convention center over Labor Day weekend for the race.

Well, Linehan is the South
Well, Linehan is the South Boston district councilor so not unusual he'd file this really.
Ah yes, I remember his
Ah yes, I remember his oversight well.
"How awesome will the Olympics be, and also, will they be super awesome?"
I don't recall who all the cheerleaders were
other than that one 'journalist'.
Is no one ever going to face a criminal or misconduct investigation for the Boston Olympics? They're all free to just try other scams, with no penalty for that one time they got caught and blocked?
Hopefully it's a speedy
process.
The important questions like,
The important questions like, will the councilors seating be near the finish line?
you've lost confidence in Bill Linehan, too?
The council dropped the ball on reforming the BRA today.

Give It A Chance
This is from someone who was dead set against the Olympics. Please get over your fears that one weekend, a holiday weekend at that, without Silver Line service will cripple our lives.
The race is taking place in Alexandria-Virginia-Sur-The-Seaport anyway. Get back to us when you are a neighborhood and not a collection of glass boxes owned by Chinese investors.
I love that you are complaining about noise and you choose to live within 1 mile of Logan.
By the way, last time I checked Monte Carlo wasn't exactly destroyed by a few Grand Prix races.
One weekend
With 2-3 months of construction before and after.
